Had a blast at Steve and Sarah’s wedding which I got to shoot with Erik Clausen . Great venues, awesome couple, fantastic live music, and good food. Could a photographer ask for more? Good luck to Steve and Sarah on their new life together in Canada! Steve and Sarah both got ready at The Melrose Hotel and the ceremony was at Holy Trinity Catholic Church . The reception was at Arlington Hall at Lee Park.
Roy & Emily
You may have heard of Texas’ legendary hospitality. Let me just say that it gets better the deeper you go! I got to photograph Roy and Emily’s wedding along with my wife as my second shooter down in Burton, Texas. What a treat we were in for! Karen and I felt like we were visiting with friends the whole time we were there. Now this wedding was an experience for other reasons too. Take a look at the JP’s office! We got to stay at the Knittel Homestead B&B and walk to the wedding ceremony then walk to the Cotton Gin Museum for some photographs before heading over to the La Bahia Dance Hall for the reception. Thanks Roy and Emily. We wish you the very best in your new home in ALASKA!

This was a wedding I shot with BJ Thomas and Thi Nguyen in Houston. Actually this was BJ’s brother who was getting married and BJ had made some effort to see that his brother had plenty of photo and video coverage. There was no less than about three photographers and three videographers in place. A great bunch of wedding professionals so we all got on well and managed to coordinate our shots quite well. What a lovely couple.
Leanne & Taylor
Okay so my New Years resolution is to blog every wedding starting now. I think I’ll try with my most recent and then work backwards through some of my faves for 09. We’ll see how that goes
. So this was December right before Christmas. What a beautiful wedding. In spite of it being really chilly out there (Leanne you brave girl!) it was a really sweet ceremony and one I really enjoyed shooting. The wedding was at the Surrey House in McKinney, TX and Leanne got ready at the Grand Hotel while Taylor started out at the Hampton in Allen. What a great way to end off a decade!

Jeff & Sandra
This was beautiful wedding at the Trammell Crow Asian Art Museum (www.crowcollection.org). I loved getting to know this couple and every detail of this wedding was just beautiful. What a treat for a photographer! This was also a Poser wedding with my good friend Erik Clausen. Everyone should check him out.

Tom & Lydia
Times Ten Cellars in Dallas, Texas is an awesome place for an intimate wedding. On this occasion however, the crowd rocked! This was another Poser wedding and we had a blast!

Daniel & Inessa
Inessa is from Kazakhstan and Dan is from Temple, TX. Dan & Inessa had already been married over in her home country with all her family and so they came back to do the same with Dan’s family. The wedding was in Waco and our outdoor shoot was at Baylor University. With huge thunderstorm clouds approaching we got to make some really great pictures of a great couple.

Andy & Robin
As with most of the weddings I’ve photographed, I did this one with my good friend Erik Clausen of Poser (www.beaposer.com). The ceremony was held at the Belmont Hotel in Dallas (www.belmontdallas.com), a beautifully restored part of Dallas history -and with an awesome view too. What a beautiful couple and an awesome day! I’ve included a shot of the cityscape taken from the parking area. Well worth a visit!

Ann & Jahaziel Engagement Shoot
So for my first post I’ll kick off with some images from an engagement shoot I did for Ann & Jahaziel, an awesome couple that will be getting married this summer. The day was freezing and in some of the shots they looked really cold – but actually for the most part these guys were troopers and played along and had fun in spite of the cold. I took them to a greenbelt in Plano where the bluebonnets were in bloom. Here’s a sampling.
